R-106 Rucksack

The popular R-106 rucksack is the perfect  solution for taking your large video or photo kit for shooting and carrying on hikes. The unique quick access flap lets you get to your camera as fast as possible without stopping to open the bag.

Quick Separate access
The R-106 Rucksack is cleverly designed to hold large D/SLR cameras with battery grip attached with long telephoto lenses plus accessories. Extra lenses, flashes chargers, cables etc. can be stored the surrounding compartments, the spacious arched lid compartment, the 2 mesh pouches and the central mesh/vinyl pocket.

The frontal opening gives you separate access to your main camera in the central compartment, while the rest of the equipment surrounding it remains secure.

Individual Customization
The entire internal compartment is completely customizable through the use of the provided modi-vers dividers. Protect your equipment while creating custom compartments to fit your unique equipment.

The yellow material makes it easy to find even the smallest components and accessories.

Additional Storage
Additional accessories such as, batteries, filters, charger, cables etc. can be stored in the surrounding compartments, the 2 mesh pouches and the central mesh/vinyl pocket. The R-106 holds up to most 15.4” laptops.Personal effects can be stored in the two external front pockets or in the detachable side pockets which can be easily removed when not needed to make the case smaller.

Bring along your Tripod
A tripod can be carried while attached to either the two sides or back of the backpack by using KATAs included tripod holder or the TST protected side pockets. Simply connect the provided tripod sling to the clips located on the front of the bag.

Advanced Harness
The R-106  features an ergonomic harness and waist belt that includes a unique cushioning and shock absorbing system combined with a 5-point adjustment mechanism which together provide optimal ventilation and weight distribution.

EPH System
This bag has the option to connect a torso pack through the use of Katas EPH system. This provides even more carrying storage as well as up front easy access to your equipment.

Insertrolley
When not in use, the harness can be neatly folded out of the way to allow for easy storage to allow the addition of KATAs Insertrolley (not included) for an easy carting option.

Camera straps
Shoot quickly and take the weight of your camera off your neck with the use of the special camera straps.

Elements cover
The provided elements cover will protect your valuable equipment during extreme weather conditions. Simply install over the bag on the black side for rain protection, the silver side for heat deflection, or use as a dust cover.

TST Protection
TST (Thermo Shield Technology) is a state of the art solution that provides the perfect protection level for digital equipment while creating an extremely lightweight product. It is featured on the important areas of the bag that are subject to shock.
